Thse results from our poll on Canton,iTownOnline.com are hardly a surprise. Both national polls, and, after-the-fact, holidays sales results reported by retailers were further proof that these attitudes expressed by area residents were consistent with consumers across the nation.  Spending less this past holiday season seemed to be the responsible thing to do, but we can all hope we're in a better position to spend this coming December!
