Courtney is one of this website's heavy users.  We mean she is on the site and contributes her commentary a lot!  We appreciate Courtney, but a recent post kind of hit us where we live - here's her post, to which we respond below.

I would love for you to cover many different topics about the community. I visit this website often and I usually see the same articles all the time. I would like to see something different, something new at least every week. The homepage is always the same everytime I visit the website. No new news. How about putting the local Canton weather on the homepage? How about movies of the week? Maybe I have the wrong idea. Is this a website that us readers kind of create? Are we supposed to create or post what we want to see? If so, I think that I could do that.

Courtney - Thanks.  Your suggestions, and your offer, are EXACTLY what WE would like this site to do.  And we're trying, but you know what, we were kind of hoping you and a few other folks would have picked up the ball by now.  We need to write content, think of ideas for content, research the information for the content, maintain the website that posts the content, sell advertising to the businesses that sponsor the website that runs the content, manage the responses from people that would like to see more content, and...well..you get the idea.  Really, the idea behind this site is what internet gurus call the "community contributed content model".  We provide a mechanism by which you, or your significant other, or friend, neighbor or even enemy can register to provide content to the site, or even easier, just respond to an article.  We know we're getting visitors.  We count them.  So when you, or anybody that is reading this, comes to the site, how about taking a few seconds to click on the "My.iTownOnline.com" registration link at the top of the page, so you can contribute content and be eligible to win prizes that our sponsors are going to be only to willing to provide when we start telling them how many people like you have registered?  Give it a shot.  As you know by now, we'll post it as your write it, as long as it is civil (and you have been Courtney, thanks!).

That goes for anybody reading this!
